Lotus Lodge was newly built in 2026 and stylishly furnished, and is located at Resort Stelleplas in Heinkenszand, centrally situated in Zeeland and close to Goes, Middelburg and Vlissingen. A peaceful and green resort featuring an outdoor swimming pool, fishing pond and brasserie 🏊.

Lotus Lodge offers a unique Japanese zen experience: a place where calm, balance and mindful relaxation take center stage. Here, you can escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and fully reconnect with yourself.

It is an ideal base to slow down, go for walks or cycling trips through the Zeeland countryside, or enjoy a relaxing day by the sea 🚲🧘‍♂️.

The accommodation

🪷 Japanese garden, sauna & outdoor shower

The lodge is set on a spacious plot and offers plenty of privacy. The garden is fully Japanese/zen‑inspired, radiating tranquility and simplicity. On the terrace, you’ll find a comfortable garden set where you can enjoy a quiet morning coffee or an evening BBQ with a good glass of wine.

In the garden, there is a wonderful Wellness / Barrel Sauna (wood‑fired), perfect for unwinding after a day at the beach, walking or cycling. The warmth, the scent of wood and the serene surroundings create a truly authentic wellness experience.

What makes Lotus Lodge extra special is the outdoor shower — a refreshing moment in the open air after the sauna or on warm summer days.

The garden also features a terrace, a pergola with removable shade cloth, and a lockable storage shed for bicycles and personal belongings. The BBQ is located in the shed as well.

🛌 Layout of the lodge

The lodge is modern, bright and designed with a focus on calm and comfort. There are two bedrooms:

• one bedroom with a double bed
• one bedroom with two single beds

Both bedrooms have wardrobes and blackout curtains to ensure a good night’s sleep.

The luxurious bathroom is fitted with a walk‑in shower, washbasin with LED mirror, and a toilet. The modern open‑plan kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, freezer, gas hob, combination oven, dishwasher, coffee machine, kettle, and plenty of kitchenware to prepare your own meals.

The kitchen/living area includes a dining space. The living room is comfortably furnished with seating and a television — a perfect place to relax together, chat, play a board game or simply unwind.

• Bed linen and towels included (one towel may be used for the sauna).
• Beds are made upon arrival, so your holiday can start right away.
• Basic supplies provided: coffee and tea, milk and sugar.
• Also available: dishwasher tablets, kitchen towel, tea towel, cleaning cloths and cleaning products.
• Fully insulated with central heating, smoke and CO₂ detectors, fire extinguisher and fire blanket.
• Baby/camping cot and high chair available free of charge.

• 🚗 Parking is available at the lodge or at the entrance of Resort Stelleplas (with charging points for electric cars).
• 🚲 Bicycles can be safely stored in the lockable shed in the garden.

ℹ️ Other important information

• The lodge is suitable for a maximum of 4 guests.
• A washing machine and dryer are available at Resort Stelleplas; tokens can be purchased at the reception.
• The adjacent outdoor swimming pool with sunbathing area is open during the season.
• With your booking, you will receive one bag of firewood, kindling and fire starters — enough to heat the sauna and enjoy it for over 2 hours.
